Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure performed under sedation using a thin flexible camera.
It is used to visualise the upper gastrointestinal tract including the oesophagus, stomach and the first part of the small bowel.
Common indications for endoscopy include reflux, swallowing issues, vomiting, upper abdominal pain and bleeding.
Dr Matthew Honoré is a GESA certified endoscopist and is experienced in both diagnostic and interventional procedures.
